Claire Pallandra, L Ac

Claire has been practicing meditation and acupuncture for 14 years. In her practice, she treats symptoms that show up as depression, anxiety, addiction, as well as physical ailments such as back pain, allergies, and headaches.

Believing that the body is deeply wise, she fell in love with these ancient modalities for their invitation to shift our attention inward and the ability to tap into our own bodies natural wisdom. Through these wholistic approaches, Claire weaves in breath work, medical qi gong,  body awareness, influences of somatic therapy, sound healing and the body work techniques zero balancing, and Jin Shin Jyutsu.

Claire was previously the wellness and acupuncture director at Penn North Recovery center in Baltimore, Maryland. Drawn to working with those in addiction recovery, she saw first hand the powerful benefits of daily practices of acupuncture, qi gong, and meditation within this community. Currently, Claire offers meditation remotely at five locations at Kolmac Outpatient Recovery centers.

Claire shares both French and American nationalities. She is an avid hiker, gardener, cook and sailer. She also has a daily practice of yoga, mindfulness, and qi gong.

Claire earned her masters and licensure in acupuncture at Maryland University of Integrative Health and her BA in sociology from Towson University and Goucher College.  She is licensed to practice acupuncture in Maryland.
